How careful should I be when introducing snails? Is it sufficient to float the bag they come in for 30 minutes in the tank and introduce some tank water every 5 minutes to acclimatise?

The best way to acclimate your snails is to remove them from the bag and place the in a DRY container for about 15 minutes or so. After 15 minutes, place them on something that floats and place that in your tank. The snails can acclimate themselves that way.

hmmmm, never heard that one. Ill give it a try next time.
