hi i was just wondering the LFS has had a new order in now for about 3weeks i went in there the other day and noticed a quite small Saddle Valentini Puffer - Canthigaster valentini about 2cm if that long they r quite and awsome and interesting fish i was just curious what they r like and how fast they,i was told they would help me get rid of my pistol shrimp and maybe a possible small mantis shrimp that is alot smaller than the puffer,
can anyone please offer me any suggestions
thanks

They are a good little puffer and will indeed make short work of any shrimps and other invertebrates.

I'm not aware of any problems with slime from puffers. Thier toxins are restricted to internal organs. Only danger is in eating them ;)
