Weird wiring problem. Here's the wiring plan for the VHO 660 ballast.
Ran power cables from Ballast to switch (timer switch mounted in receptacle).
Ran pig tail with moulded plug (grounded garbage disposal pigtail) to power strip.
Matched wiring on endcaps to diagram.
Set timer switch to off. Set power strip to off.
Plugged in pig tail to power strip. Turned on strip. Turned on timer switch. VHO's light up perfectly.
Here's the problem. When I switch power off at the timer switch, shorts out and blows power strip fuse.
Only thing I can think of is that the electronic switch is too slow and causing an Arc?? Help!!!!!
