Just wanted to share a couple pics of my sea apples:

Neat looking creatures. Plankton feeders?

Yes they are. I've been using Kent Marine Phyto and ZooMax to feed them.

Very nice. I went for the pink knobby cucumber as its in a reef and wont take up that much room or be so dangerous!

Forgive me for the poor quality. I need to tweak my camera a bit.

I like the black sand, how is it to maintain and keep clean? Do you skim?

It's pretty easy to maintain. I have a lot of nassarius snails, so they do most of the work. There's also a lot of flow in the tank so I rarely have to deal with detritus piling up. No skimmer, just bio balls and lots of filter feeders.

Love the pics, but hate sea apples. Had a "nuke" in my 55 gal once. Lost everything but a tunicate and my flame scallop for some reason!
