O.K. They aren't Praying Mantis. BUT UGGGGGGLY!!! How can I get rid of these, what are they? They came in on some MacroAlgae I collected out of Tampa Bay. Now they want to take over my tank and my fish (angel, butterfly) won't touch them.http://mysite.verizon.net/resnuizs/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/bugs.jpg

Skeleton shrimp.

Generally harmless but typically predatory.

Manual removal is about the only way to get rid of them.

caprellids are everywhere, you find them all over macroalgae over here in California. I've never heard of anything eating them, so you just got to pluck them out by hand or with a turkey baster.

The funniest thing is...
I was desperate to find a live food for my Giant Seahorse. Guess what...............
Also I got a hawkfish. Now they compete for them.
