I posted this in the newbie forum but nobody seems to know what it is.. I'm beginning to think it's the back end of something that got half eaten. :( The segments seem to be swelling/receeding but not visibly, ie I don't see any movement but the pictures from today/yesterday look different. It doesn't react to being touched with a plastic scraper.

Any ideas? I've gone through Reef Invertebrates and several id sites, can't really tell if it's a worm or eggs or..a space alien.
