Does anyone know when "Jungles Above Oceans Below" on west grand same side as Von's and in the McDonalds shopping is going to open???? they never opened up and they've been there for 6 months plus.

they bought out Oceans Below over a year ago. They then moved down the street to where they are now. I have been in the store several times and i have no idea how they can afford to pay that rent without being open. They have got to be paying at least 2500 a month including utilities. Who know when they will open...they keep saying next month....next month...next month

I really don't think that there will be too much to check out. their knowledge on salt stuff, especially reefs is minimal. They are more into breeding reptiles. I don't know how eager they are to learn either. I don't see them lasting long if they ever open. Don't mean to be a di@k, just honest.

whats weird is that they keep adding inventory, yet they won't open the doors.

I heard they do a lot of private, business tanks & Maintenance services, that's what pays the bills.
also they trying to find good staff

thats funny...they are never there and they have no signifacant livestock and they don't go get more. They do have a couple of maintenance accounts left over from the previous owner, but I wouldn't want them touching my tank. Like I said...they don't know too much about saltwater stuff.

still not open. I looked in the window two weeks ago and the live rock bin had evaporated down 6+ inches and the powerhead was sitting dry on top of the live rock. Looks like a recipe for fire if that is how things are going to run. They have boxes of product that are spilling out onto the ground but is not on the walls. Still lots of other product new and collecting dust, including some expensive tanks. A fair amount of nice reptiles in the store and some fish. I don't get it. I think that has been one year this August. I wish I had enough money to pay rent and electricity for a year without opening!?!?
