Any ideas what type of snail this is?

Polinices, Nassarius or maybe a third type of snail?

Babylonia areolata looks good. It's a detritus eater that in turn is a popular food item in Asia.

So it was actually a whole third one, the reason for my question was that I often see pictures of this snail where it is named Nassarius and one time it was suggested to be a Polinices.
I think you may be right that it is Babylonia Areolata but are there any other snails that it could be mistaken for?

Probably. Suppliers are not always the best identifiers in the world, especially on inverts.
