well i know it isn't as great as Travis's, Eric's, Grant's many tanks and others but we are happy with the way out tank has come. and let me tell you if you saw the pics of my 1st salt water tank after taking advice from the LFS you might be amazed also.lol

pic. 1 full tank and now you can see why i need to frag some bigger kenya trees and mushrooms so i can have room for other corals.

SWEET, man looks good...keep it up and with pics also.

The test I will look into and maybe Travis or Eric might chime in, they have been using alot longer than me...so my advice might not be the best on this issue...I do have a colormeter that can test...next time here we can check with that.

I think your tank looks great!

When you frag the tree's let me know I will buy a piece off ya.
It may take Paul Bunyan to cut it down though :)

I agree, the tank looks great, I can't wait until the frags I got from you get as big as some of the ones in your tank.

BTW....I'm gonna have to steal a piece of that umbrella leather when you decide to frag it. :)

Good Job

looks great. i love the "waterfall of mushrooms" i always thought it was cool how they would cover a big area and look like a field of crops.

also i love clown gobies. had one for a LONG time but i figured out why my sps didn't have the polyp extention (PE) that i wanted. he would sit on them and bite them :( they are known to do that....very very fun fish.

upgrading skimmers??? to what ;)??

keep up the great work man!

Nice looking tank Sam! Just finally using that 30 gal. tank! :D

I like the clown goby. I might have to start looking for one.

Keep up the good work! I'm sure your skimmer upgrade will be better than the G2 ;) Even though the G2 I have is a pretty good skimmer. The germans always seem to do stuff better!

yeah i figured it out, talk about me being stupid after rereading the instructions i figured it out that i need to look through the top of the cup not the side. i guess an easy mistake though i just need to learn how to read now:D

i will let you know when that time comes and shouldn't be to long. cause after i brought the wife to Grants she had a whole list of diff. corals she wanted. so i guess gotta make some room:p

trust me the frags i gave were small and sorry about that but they grow very fast and in no time will be having alot more. as for the leather it is great however i am not sure how to frag them and am still waiting on it to become alittle bigger but will keep you in mind.

yeah it looks great how they can fill up the gaps the wife and i both love the way they look.
also i love clown gobies. had one for a LONG time but i figured out why my sps didn't have the polyp extention (PE) that i wanted. he would sit on them and bite them they are known to do that....very very fun fish.
yeah i have heard that they like to bother SPS corals which is why i may keep the 46 gal. for softies and have the 75 gal. for SPS and some LPS and even softies:p

well i think you know the answer but still waiting on the wife

yeah i am finally getting use out of the 30 gal. and i can already tell the diff. in vol. of tank size. if you do get the goby you will love it. not sure on the skimmer upgrade being better, as i said the G2 is doing great and is a wonderful skimmer. just always wanted to try the type of skimmer i may be getting. don't want to say what it is yet untill i do or don't get it though. but not sure if it is german made.

Hey, just a quick note....If people are interested, there's that tank contest at Mini's....I was just there, and they have a grand total of 2 pics up for this month, and March is almost over. I think our club could supply them with a winner. *hint hint*
