I recently bought a 100g tank as most of you who have taken the time of reading my posts and and answered all my questions know (Thanks E-Dogg for the hookup!) It was an established SW tank he just downsized. It just needs to have some elbow grease put to it. I am just wondering what is best way to clean it? I don't want to use anything that may harm my tank down the road. Are all cleaning products off limits or are there ones that are tank/reef safe? Also have pix of the 100g in my gallery will be putting up pix of the 45g I plan on using as a sump and my 12g I am thinking of using as my Q tank(too small?).

Thanks folks!

Tommy

Just wash it with Vinegar. It's good for cleaning all your pumps, powerheads, etc... I wouldn't risk using anything else.

Just don't stick your head near the tank while scrubbing!!

Hey Tommy I'm glad to see taking this new venture seriously and doing tons of research it will pay off! It may sound stupid but make sure you scrub with somthing that is safe for glass. I ruined a tank before! Good luck!
