Slash should have a DIY day, where people show other people there DIY inventions/mods. and explain to them how to do them. what do you all think? i have a but load of mods and DIY projects that i could share.....

that would be a great idea, but in stead of showing stuff, we should demonstarte and teach. Like tell everyone to bring such materials and then everyone can show eachother how we did each thing. I hope that makes sense, if not let me know

Matt the website gives step by step instructions on it. SO easy even I got it right the first time.

I think that is a great idea!
Because the problem I have is visualizing what someone is telling me so seeing it in person helps me a lot more.

Like tonight, steve showed me the same skimmer I had an issue with that noone could seem to pinpoint

LOL....I remember making mine last fall, standing there in the plumbing aisle having my stepson hold the printout from the durso site while I tried to hold all the pieces up together and make sure I had everything. In hindsight it really was very simple to construct, but in the beginning for someone who had absolutely no plumbing experience I felt a bit out of place in the plumbing area of Home Depot.
