Ok here I go again with the "STUPID" questions. I don't follow any of the sports events, so I am always in the dark when they are abbreviated. With that said what does NHRA stand for?? Just curious.

I'm IN, I have a guy that I work with who is good friends with John Force. He stays with him every year. Maybe I can work out something where we can meet him as a group. Let me check on it and I'll let you all know.

Will the Petty Racing experience be on tour there at that time? If so I can get some discounts on the class and driving. A patient and friend of mine since high school is a driver/instructor for them and has offered me a free ticket a few times but I've never been able to take him up on it. I couldn't get everyone in free but I bet I could get a bunch of discounts.

I've wanted to take him up on it for a couple years and there's always some conflict. Unless you go through all the SCCA preliminary stuff, gather up ton's of sponsers, it's the only way to ever get to drive one of those cars. I almost had a chance in the 80's when my buddys family business had one but my friend took it for a spin around the track and wrecked it coming out of the pit. Then his dad wasn't too hip on letting any of his friends drive it. I used to get my stall speed's from him because they remanufactured torque converters and sold a racing one called LandRush.
