Deltec skimmer for sale - 2wks old

well i decided to upgrade to an APF600. this way when i upgrade to a 125+gal in a year or two i have the skimmer already

selling AP600 (www.deltecusa.us)

got the skimmer about 2wks ago. they retail for $620 + shipping.

i'll have my APF600 on friday so i could get it to someone this weekend.

i'll let it go for $550

it would need a feed pump. maxijett1200 or mag2 . or you could gavity feed it from the overflow

What made me think about it right away was that i've heard a LOT of good stuff about deltec skimmers, $550 is just a bit much, it's in my price range, but at the very top of it

Daka - you got it right man. Deltecs are very nice. skim hard. i'm glad you have done some research and noticed the benefits of a good skimmer. $550 is pricey but worth every penny IMO i guess you get what you pay for..most of the time.

i might have a Euro-Reef RC80 that i might sell for $350 or so

coral catshark, lionfish, moray eel, grouper, and maybe 1 other fish (rabbit fish i'm thinkin')

Aqua eqpt doesn't hold value well.

Its a bummer ...I know... I'm considering selling my 125. ..I wont get half outta what I put into it.

Daka - wow you will need a good skimmer. good to plan ahead and research some good/big ones. good thing is you have plenty of time to find one.

Reistroffer - i realize it's used. used 2wks. it won't loose OVER 1/2 it's value in 2wks. most aqua equipment doesn't hold a lot of it it's value...but they don't loose that much in 2wks. plus this isn't your average piece of equipment...it's a Deltec

i did a search on ebay....there are NO deltec skimmers for sale...sorry. they dont' hang around RC long because everyone pics up the used ones quick. thought i would offer it in here to someone looking for a nice piece before i threw it to the wolves of the selling forums.

$550 shipped is a fair price. if you would like to make an offer...by all means make a competitive, fair, and non isulting offer. i'm sorry $250 was not under this category and was just insulting IMO.

that would be like me offering you $2500 for your 740I or wanting to trade my 98 Escort for it. cars depreciate in value huge. that would be an insulting offer on my part

tjh - it won't take long. there are plenty of people out there that know who and what Deltec is and know a good deal when you see it.
