SLASH will have a forum here on Reef Central that actively promotes the hobby of reefkeeping in the Saint Louis Area. In addition to the forum on RC, there will be events held on both weekends and weeknights to accommodate folks with different work schedules and family committments. Our aim will be to offer a wider variety of events and to include everyone in the decision-making processes that make a club special for it's members.

Give us time to make things happen. Stayed tuned more to come.

The plan was to open this forum next Monday. We ask for your patience while we prepare the forum for use.

Will this become a reality or just more of a reefcentral group? I mean that by, will there be dues and a hierarchy of members?

It will be a full functioning group, we will do alot of forum based events and equal part person to person events.

Is it possible to be in both groups or is it an either/or proposition?

I see, that's what I was asking. Just couldn't get the wording right.

It will become a reality. It IS a reality but was not supposed to go live until next Monday.

Just thought I'd chime in and say what a great idea I think this is. I have nothing against SEASL but I've never been able to join due to the meeting times. So I really like the idea of changing up the days of the meetings.

Where do I sign up?
