I'm looking for a mail order place to get some glue for a DIY acrylic sump I'm planning. I've beed to all the homecenters( HD, Menards) and no one seem to carry it. Anyone?

I've gotten acrylic supplies from here - including Weld On products. HTH

I've been able to get the "watery" adhesive (methylene chloride) with syringe applicator under the Craftics Brand name from local hobby stores. I used Ridout Plastics for Weld-On No.16 & 40. I could not find these anywhere local.

Definately check out any local plastic shops in the yellow pages for your area.

They will carry all the Weld-On type products but more importantly usually will have a scrap pile. My local plastic shop sells it for $1 a pound. I have built a couple of sumps for our reef club members for $17 which would normally cost $80+ in acrylic......Also can get smaller sections ( ends ) of acrylic tubing great for protein skimmers and CA reactors for only a couple of bucks......
