My parents want to buy my sister a digital camera so that she can send pictures of her new baby to them through email.

I'm not up to date on the best brands or models in this price range.

Can anyone recommend a model? It needs to be fairly good in low light because the baby is premature and is in an isolette.

Other than that, it doesn't need to be anything fancy.

Any help is appreciated.

I bought a Fujifilm Finepix 2600, the price is a little higer than you posted ($270 ish) but you get rechargable NiMH batteries and a charger with it. I chose it because it was one of the better deals I could find for the money. If you search on the web you will find many reviews and pictures. Also i you want me to send you a couple example pictures then just let me know.

Good luck

Stereomandan,

I use a Polaroid PDC2300Z that I bought last year at Crhistmas for $189 off Ebay and just did a search and they are running $169+. I bought it because:

2.1 MP
Compact Flash Card Storage
USB hookup to the computer

Those were my main concerns. As you can see by the pics I am attatching, it does a pretty decent job for what I spent. Sent one to my sisters family for Christmas because we like it so much.
