I have a beautiful pair of yellow clown gobies who have just laid a nice batch of eggs in the upper top corner of my tank on the glass.

Is there anything I can do in the future to encourage them to lay on something else that can be removed?

I am going to try and catch the fry when they hatch, but I know it will be difficult.

Any info on these fish would be greatly appreciated.

John

Hi John:
many of these fish are looking for a flat clean surface to lay their eggs on. So why not affix tiles to the corners, especially the upper corners where they have currently laid eggs, you can also try to place flat tiles thruout the tank in hopes of getting some eggs. Once the eggs are laid you can remove the tiles. One thing you can do now is wait for the clown fry to get close to hacthing and when the fry hatch siphon them into a growout tank.
