---Question on octo tank---

is an eclipse 6 or 12 gallon good for an octo? whats the best species for my tank besides the deadly one. the top escape proof right?

I wouldn't recommend a eclipse for any octopus. A 12 would be to small even for a pygmy in my opinion. They put out a ton of waste and you would have to do large water changes every week. O. mercatris is a pygmy that is extremly hardy so it could possible survive but it wouldn't give it much room error and you wou;ld have a hrad tome sealiing it up. Find the correct species is another task that is not 100% reliable. So thats another reason to get a larger tank. You never know sometimes what you will get.
