sump problems

pumping more into tank than what i can get into sump useing 500 pond pump into 20gal sump tank water level high sump running low was running good at first don't know what happend any suggestions on a fix i think maybe line running down from box to long there was a limp spot in it

I had the same problem until I put a ball valve on the return pump. It works like a charm now!

Try a valve, if you can find a non metal valve that has the knob type (I think its called a gate valve) they are so much easier to make fine adjustments on than a ball valve (in my experience fine adjusting a ball valve is a pain in the ba-hooty.

I had both and wish I could have found a 1" gate non metal when I setup the 110 .

In any case being able to adjust the output of your return pump is usually a must...........
