Pumping air to a RSB

Has anyone tried connecting an air pump to the air tube of a Red Sea Berlin skimmer? I was thinking that might put more air in the skimmer than the venturi can draw naturally. Anyone have thoughts?

Tried this on a cpr sr2 and it works much better. Have to have a good air pump and need a way to adjust the output. If you force to much air it can shut down the water flow. The sr2 is producing about twice as much with this arrangement.

It does burn out the pumps rather fast because there is nefgative backpressure.
Get a low pressure pump since high pressure pumps do not fair well.
