Heya folks! I just bought my "new" tank!!! I was thinking about that other set up for $500 bucks I was asking about but I found one that was closer, cheaper, and bigger! Although it doesn't come with a light setup or anything it only cost me $275 for the tank and stand...now to start getting all the equipment together. And Dammit! Why didn't someone tell me that protein skimmers were so much!? lol And I thought chrome for the Harleys was expensive! I am gonna try to set up a gallery to get the pix of the tank on there so you guys can tell me what you think! If not gonna plaster them here....lol Here are the dimensions which breakes it down to about a 112 Gal. tank. Asta la Bye-bye!

looks nice. Are you going to keep the tank next to the vent?

You can find a pretty cheap skimmer in the for sale forum. Just make sure you get a good one so you don't have to keep upgrading. What kind of lighting are you planning on put over it?

Lan,

Man I havent the slightest clue. lol It all really depends on what kind of stuff I am gonna put in it. I am thinking of just starting off with a FOWLR setup before i go crazy and start tossing in corals and such.

Very nice tank! You definitely got a bargain at $275. Like Lak said - you can always find cheap used skimmer. I think someone in MARS is selling a EuroReef ES5-2 for $125, which IMO is a pretty good deal. I can't recall how big a tank the skimmer will support.

Good luck!

i was surfing through ebay and found a euroreef 5-3 for 160 shipped. It's a blemish, which means that there might be some minor defect. If you think it's to small for you tank, you should still buy it and trade it with me. lol. I have a ASM G2 on my 30gal.
