I'm so excited. Tank is looking great. I still have to switch the 10k pc to an actinic. Definatly need 2 actinics. very white. Thanks again for the link Zmann. I'm planning on turning the halide on for a half hour per day for a while and slowly increasing the time. Sorry for the boring thread but I had to share my excitement.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!! New halides are definitely worth a post. Do you have any pics yet?

Congrat's man... get some pic's posted and let us know when the cycle's over. Get some frags in that tank yet. Maybe get started on my payments :-)

I don't have a digicam yet. I'll have to borrow Andy's. Will post pics soon. My hippo was freakin out. Don't know if it was the glitter lines or what.

If you're into the weekend of the 20th we could hang out and if it's cool with Mac make the run out to his place.

any clue as to how long before that galaxia become remotely sizable? (umm like 1/2 inch or more) sorry got to bust chops... is a nice frag.... bryan is going to get the brown you brought..

That's cool.. tell him it goes towards my payments ;-)

- The Galaxia grows pretty quick, though it takes some time to get adjusted. I got a frag from Demose that took off pretty quick, this piece that you have, is a frag off the piece I got from a guy in Maryland about 6 months ago... that little sliver was about half of the new growth since I got it...
