A few days ago I stopped by Costco in Richmond. They had a Dremel knock off made by Alltrade for around $25.

At that price, you won't have to cry if you get your Dremel sprayed with salt.

Best of luck,

Roy

Hey Roy. Thanks for the heads up. I bought a Black and Decker version from Costco. Can't remember how much - but it was a great deal as well!

The costco one is like $30 and you get a whole kit full of bits to go with it.

Go to Harbor Freight Tools where you can pick up a rotary tool like a Dremel for like $8

Wow $8 ... that is cheap.. I think the one from Costco has a higher RPM..

True but how fast do you have to have the RPM to cut frags?

I use the same exact tool mentioned for my DIY projects cutting acrylics, PVCs, etc... No problems. At $8 even if you have to replace it after a while you're still ahead IMO.

Oh and the nice thing is this tool will fit Dremel bits also.
