anybody here use the wave2k wavemaker ? here anything good or bad about them......
i really like the design, it takes away from all the cords and powerheads and looks a little more natural in my opinion, but i was wondering if it produces results ?

Sorry, I never used a wave timer with powerheads. I've only use SCWD's. There pretty cool little gadgets. I did see in the DIY forum, people useing these light timers that are mad for DJ's. Real cheap and lots of people were haveing success with them.

Did you ask over in the equipment forum?

I had one. The design is great. some things to consider is clearance on top, bottom, and sides. how the unit is going to be mounted to the tank (this will be a little more difficult in eurobrace glass tanks, but not impossible as they offer extensions-but you do loose a lot of realstate)
IMO, overall is a great unit as long as you have the space and clearance to mount it.
If you have any other questions, LMK
