I currently have 2 10,000k and 2 Actinc 65 watt Power Compact bulbs on my 75 gallon tank. I have a few corals, nothing too light demanding (obviously).
I am considering swapping out the 10k's for 6500k bulbs. Other then the "less blue" coloring, could this cause any issues with the corals ? Or possibly cause an algae issue ? Any opinions on good or bad for or against either type ?

the 6,500 is very yellow. what is the reason you want to change? I have two you can borrow, if you like, before you make that jump. I started out with 2 6,500s and when it became time to change, went to 10K. I have since changed 1 to a 12.5k and will do the same with the other 10K here shortly.

No the corals wont mind, they will actually grow faster.

Just looking for a change, really. It is pretty tough to get a real feel for what a tank actually looks like from a picture on a website. I have heard that the 6500's are yellow, but I was curious just "how yellow" that yellow was heh heh. I figured that the 10k's were more representative of light in deeper water, while the 6500's would be closer to a shallow water look. Plus, with 2 Actinc's, I was hoping to offset the yellowing.
I may just take you up on borrowing those two from you, Murf. It would be nice to be able to see before you buy =)
