Just trying to find some information about the breeding behavior of these guys.
I had two in the tank, and there only seems to be one (the larger of the two). I don't think they other died as I can't find a body, I haven't seen any change in the dissolved nutrient levels, and the larger of the two drops whatever it's doing every couple of minutes, swims to the back of the tank to a small cave behind some LR and then hops back out. If I sit and watch, it hangs around the cave and doesn't leave. Any disturbance tends to send it scurrying back there.
Is this a nest-guarding behavior? If so, wouldn't the female be participating?
I'm paranoid the other gramma is a goner (which I can live with) but if the two are breeding, I certainly don't mind either. :p
