Hi Guys,
I'm upgrading to a 82 gallon display with a 30 gallon ecosystem refugium. Now I just need some kind of tub for my sump. I'm guessing a 50 gallon tub should be good enough to hold any water that may drain during power outages.

I need it to house an ASM G3 skimmer and some other misc. equipment, the skimmer being the largest.

I found a lot of tubs and such at hardware stores, but they seemed a bit flimsy. Like this:

I was wondering if anyone knew of better tubs that are stronger. I will be using a bulkhead for my sump return pump.

Also where to buy would be great too!

Thanks!

Check the MARS forum. Marc Daniels is selling off some heavy duty stock tubs. http://archive.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=768101

If it works out, someone from MARS could probably drive it down to Hayward for you.

Best of luck,

Roy

hey roy
yeah I checked out his tubs, though they may be a bit too shallow for me. I have to double check though.

Thanks for lookin out. btw were you able to find a replacement pump?

Yeah, while Prodman was posting his (darn), I found what I needed at 6th avenue. It's an Eihem with a 3 year warranty. The GPH was higher than I needed; but, I have a valve I could adjust it with.

Best of luck,

Roy
