When I put the the tank on the stand itdoesn't sit level on the stand. There is about a1/4" to 1/2" gap on the front left corner between the stand and tank. Now everyting is level when the level is put on it, so I am at a lost as to whats wrong. With that I had some styrofoam that is about 3/4" to 1" thick and I put it between tank and stand and it leveled it out no more gap and all is level. So I was wondering what I should donow. I do think the styro I have now is to thick or is it? I just don't know, can anyone help with suggestions?

Your floor probably is not level and you should've level it with Chims. It is not neccessary to put that thick foam under that size tank but it won't hurt since the floor is not straight and you already put water in.

I didn't put any water in yet for fear of having to empty it. I only put that foam there to see if it would help. I do have chims so I will try those.

try the shims, you dont want to use foam because it might start to crush and unlevel

Since you have not added water then remove the move and try to level the stand. You also want to check the level after adding half water. You want to make sure your stand is not off too. This is one of those things that not easy to explain much typing.

Make sure the stand is level..

I had 180 gallon that I had to empty a couple of times once. Between curved floor and thick carpet the level was changing everytime I filled it with water. That was something needed alot of patient :) and few bad words from a good guy like me :)
