How about this:

*Pics/info(notes) from previous meetings.
*Pics from tank members
*Links to reef sources
*Links to sponsors
*Links to LFS within the area.
*Try to get some discount from LFS or suppliers for ANCHOR's members.
*Create an agenda for the whole year based on future meetings(things or issue that you might want to discuss or interact, also some presentations)

Good Luck, looking forward to meet you guys.
I'm in the process of selling my house and move to Spring Hill surroundings.:D

Rob, great job!

Another idea is to have a secure sign on given to members that will have contact information of the folks in the club.

Maybe also include a calendar that we can post club events or get togethers... (monthly meeting dates&times, beach combing, dragging a sein net, etc)

I agree that having a pics section of the clubs tanks and critters/corals would be nice too.

Just my $0.02

EXACTLY glyle41 !!! Too much formality may be detrimental to what we want to accomplish. I really like it that we are casual and I feel I can speak for many when I say that "we should keep it informal too."

Regarding cards... I have a 4 color laser printer that does pretty well. I do not have card stock or know how to type set/make cards. If someone knows 'puters and can make the document that all I have to do is open the document, load paper and hit print, I can print them. Lemme know

I can and will do the graphics. I have card stock for some cards. I will check later today to see what I can do. I also have a printer that's a color inkjet, but does nice work.

What a great bunch of people : )

wow - stay offline for a couple of days and look at all the fun you miss - what great ideas!!

web page looks great!

I like the idea of business cards too, that was how I found the gainesville club - from a card posted in a lfs

I just think it is too cool how everyone's talents are being discovered - started off with just a few emails to get some reef answers and now I have discovered a graphic artist, banker, and people that not only understand all this plumbing stuff but can actually make these things I pay good $ for. I will be a DIY'er in no time!

I see the site is up, but no content as of yet. Who is hosting it? Who is going to add the content?

Rob if you don't have time to update the web site you can have another member update the site. We need to know how much it cost so we can get the money collected.

Ted
have you heard anything back - just wondering when we will be able to post pics of the member tanks - since everyone is splitting hosting duties it would be a perfect opportunity to have a tank of the month with pics taken at each meeting.
