Good to hear that and what was the first thing you showed her when she got home or you already took a nano one to the hospital already :) ..

Well of course she recieved a crash course in marine/reef tanks 101, and boy does she take a liking to the tank. So once the 55 is setup and running I have to get another one just for here to grow with :)

with 101 she can grow in for a year or two. One way to make sure you have your eyes on them :D I can't find a picture of my son in a fish tank and it was one of the first threads I started in NCPARS forum.

how is the baby and how you sleeping. It looks like you don't have as much time online as you did a week or two ago :)

Thanks Mo for asking. Maisarah is doing very well and is very lively. She is very aware of her surroundings and her family. As far as sleep The only real reason I am not online as much is due to me working on the tank at odd hours. I have been really trying to get everything straight from the start. Don't want to have to break down for something I could have done before setting it up, know what I mean. Like now I have a leak in the overflow box. Not a bad one it only leaked about 1/4" in a 5.5 hr span of time so it is very small leak. The problem is I can't find it. The darn thing leaks so slow I can't see where it is comming from. Other than that all is well and haven't really missed any sleep. Guess thats because we pretty much have the baby thing down pat being that we have 3 other or had 3 other babies that are now 7,5, and 2.

did I say somewhere " In Case if overflow leaks " :) that's why you need to bring the pipe in the overflow higher. If you are not home, power failur, more leak and you have water on the floor. Basically you want to use the overflow to block fish from going there.

Read you loud and clear, and yes you did say " In Case if overflow leaks " :D.

I found the leak and repaired it. No more leaks after test after test after test ( fill, drain, fill ,drain). All is plumbed and ready to fill with saltwater and sand. I will be using the 32 lb's of sand I have now until I get about 25 or 30 lb's more and about 5 lbs for the fuge. Other than that I just have to install the lights of which one set is here and the other set should be here today, yahoo :D.

You might be fine with just that much sand.

ok, good deal. I'll see how it goes and then if I need to get sme more later. I did want to stay with the 2" bed being I had good results with it, but I will give this a try.

2" is good or less just to cover the bottom.
