Reefnest logo

ok, we need to get a logo for the club
something that can be printed on our articles, site, brochures,
sort of like the reefcentral one on the top of the page
so all i need is ideas, i am going to get my brother to make it really nice
so what do you think it should be?

What about a fish behind a desk with glasses on and a book or something?

OK :) well I'm not very creative but it should have a fish or coral or something that shows something about teaching/educating!

thats actually a good idea, i was thinking of using a piccaso trigger because of the cool colors

For a fish with color how about the scott's fairy wrasse and a echino coral on the sides or in the back ground?

i was just think of maybe using a whole bunch of fish in like a collage
maybe with reefnest in the middle and the fish all around the name
fairy wrasse added to the list

I like the picasso triggerfish. Its a unique fish- not one that everybody knows. I think some kind of animation would be good. perhaps some waves of or something under the REEFNEST logo, and the fish on the end. If I am the only one with ideas, I can just call Ethan up and tell him what I like!!! Haha. he'll just love that..

i am going to talk to him tonight and tell him some of my ideas, i think a collage of fish and coral and then maybe some waves and then reefnest in the middle in cool text would look awesome

How about this for an idea? Since ReefNest is about educating the young ones as well as everyone else wink wink, why do you have a group of children young adult :) do some drawings of real corals and fish and use that as the background ( sort of wall paper) for the collage, and have ReefNest in the forground in bold bright letters?

we could do that, i could just ask my brother to draw with his left hand and make it look like a kid did it:D

it might actually be neat to have a kid write REEFNEST though - more authentic that way. Perhaps one of Mo's kids or Reef Dwellers? Then they could scan it in to the computer and send to Ethan to use. Ethan could always tweak it a little. It would be neat to see what some kids could come up with.

this is what my son came up with. If needed I can take a better picture tomorrow outside. I could make him do each letter different colors too. He likes to write and he is 4.5yrs old.

well just to elaborate on the fish sporting the edj look are u thinking more to the fish side or more twards the edj side

u can always do something similar to the google guys and around every holiday make your add dressy for the season if so u might want to keep the logo more on the simple side so it leaves more room to dress up for differnt times of the year/month and

of course you have to have a fun fact/riddle/q-n-a somthing like that up near your logo

you could use an octopus and have him working on many different projects geared towards education with each arm....
