REEFNEST Spring Photo Contest, Good Prizes

How about 4 times a year photo contest and they have to be submitted the day of season change.
Now we have Winter Photo Contest Which Has To Be Submitted Before Midnight March 20th 2006.

Everybody is welcome to join.. We need to put the rules, prizes which I can take care of and frags from REEFNEST projects and a good frag of Efflo,, etc..

I will be planning a trip to Penn State Aquarium sometimes afternoon to shoot some pictures and those from my area are more than welcome to join.

Now we need to set a whole page about it and here I'm taking suggestions.

Macro Shots

Coral and Fish

REEFNEST Winter Digital Photography Contest
1) Micro shots
2) Fish, inverberates, and corals

You must submit the following information at a minimum about each picture:

Picture Title:
Picture Description:
Name of Photographer:
Camera Equipment Used (camera make/model, tripod used?, flash?):
Tank Lighting at Time Photo was Taken (type,wattage,color temp):
Feel free to include any additional information about how you took the picture, it's subject etc.




1) Two submission per category per person
2) No copyrighted or watermarked photos, REEFNESTmust be able to use it as they wish after it is submitted
3) There is no minimum or maximum resolution but higher is better.
4) File Size Limit is 5MB preffered format is JPG but we can deal with almost anything. Photos to be sent to Reefnest@reefnest.com
5) Winning images can’t be resubmitted for future contests.
6) Submitter must be the photographer and copyright holder of the submitted photos. And submitter can take the picture of other aquariums than his/her own.
7) Only aquarium photos and not from open ocean or reef.

Prizes
Best photo of each category will get the following..
1: 10 frags of winner’s pick from SPS or Soft Corals
Winner will be announced the end of first week of the season.

Where does the winner get to pick the 10 frags from?

From any of the schools or my frag system I'm setting up and let me know if they want soft corals, or SPS.. I did that because not everybody can have SPS.
