Hi all,
Do you think this would work?
I have a 29g sitting empty. Can I put a snowflake eel and a flame hawkfish together in a 29 long term? I plan on filtering this tank with an Ehiem canister filter. No live rock. I don't want to put in CC but also not real fine sand. What do ya think?

The eel will get as big as the 29 is long. It will take awhile but eventually you'll be looking at and thinking it needs a 55 ;) The hawk will be fine long term. What model Ehiem? Some will be enough filtration, but others will only be good as supplementary.

How long does it take for a snowflake to grow that adult size? I was thinking of getting a small one (6 inch). As for the Ehiem, either a 2217 or a wet-dry model (not sure of the #) what do you think?
