I don't know of any local fish store that has it. Tropical Paradise has some the last I check. They are in Sac. If you can wait, you can order some from filterbag.com.

I bought the same filter bag than lanxang referred to. Only thing I didn't like about them was that they are 100 micron - which means that they clog up pretty fast. I have to change my filter sock out at least once a week.
But they do have incredible prices!

Once a week change is pretty common, if not more frequent. You don't want crap getting back into the system.

They also offer bags with different micron ratings from 1 - 1500, depending on the material you choose. Wasn't happy having to pay over $10 for a 100 micron 14" bag from aquatic gallery. thanks for the link.

So, what micron rating have people tried? I'm running 100 micron now and they clog up in about 3 days and am considering trying something a bit more porous: 200-400micron.

I'm using 100 micron.

Still using 100 microns. I'd like to try 200 microns. BTW - my bag usually clogs up in about 5 days on my 120G.
