Skimmer quit skimming

I have a venturi protien skimmer (in sump). It was working fine. Agu came by and told me to take the filter out of the bottom so it would work more efficiantly. I did and it worked great for about 5 days. Now its blowing lots of bubbles and Ive got the venturi opened all the way, and Im just not getting anything to boil up to the collection cup. Just added about 200lbs of live rock and figured it would have started skimming by now. Shoudnt it skim stuff out all the time??? Any suggestions???

Good to hear you got more live rock :thumbsup:.

Skimmers can be finicky. When you make changes it can effect the skimmers efficiency. Give it a day or three. If that doesn't work give me a call.
