Nice clear first pictures, I have exactly the same colour polyps in my tank. Many people make the mistake of using the macro function of these high-powered cameras too much, resulting in extreme close-up of corals which are fairly meaningless in my opinion.

I too had the problem of using the micro zoom way
too much. There is fine line. Here is another. You start to see the image blurr a little.

great shot- looks like another person happy with their nikon. that sure is a popular camera- and i can see why.

Yep! Been there several times. Been going to the Big Island the last few years. Better snorkeling. But I do miss Kauai. I think it's my favorite island all around.

I'm going to the Big Island in May for my sister's wedding and I'll be bringing my CoolPix 990 for sure! I just got a 128 mb chippy thing. :)
