Im kinda getting my butt kicked by aptasia as well. What is this Joes Juice you speak of I am lost if it wasnt for coral farmer I would be running freshwater in my saltwater tank. but he is an idiot when it comes to aptasia removal cuz his tank is covered with them, i think he likes the little buggers

I got it from an Ebay seller, $9 and $2.30 shipping. Had it in 4 days.

Joes is a concentrated calc solution applied with a plastic tipped syringe. I have had 4-5 in my tank since day one and majanos all over my overflow. Not a real problem but they still deserved to die!

All dead, gone, bye-bye! Poof! I murdered 6 Aptasias (all I could find) and 200-300 manjo's (wiping my hands).

I did a water change, reloaded my DI, and hooked up my autofeeder. turn on the auto topoff and I'm gone. My daughter will check on it while I'm gone but all will be fine.

Peppermint shrimp work without going thru all that trouble... that is if you have a true peppermint.

I bought a 75g that was engulfed (hundreds) with majanos. Thanks to Rich, I set up a 20L q-tank with hypo-salinic water. Took 1/2 of lr at a time and put into the q-tank. Altho they eventually adjusted to the water (I was hoping that they would explode), they did become not as attached to the rock and most eaasily came off with minimal scraping. The ones that remained were given Ca solution in a insuline needle. In the meantime I cleaned the tank and corals in it of the buggers. Finally I swapped the q-tank lr with the remaining 1/2 infested lr and did the q-tank thing with the last of the rock. It's been a few months now, and haven't seem a one yet (fingers crossed).
