So what kind of corals can you guys get over there?

depeneds on where and when you go. right now, there is very limited selection. The old man at the coral shop says "april, lots of corals"

I havent been here in april, so IDK. Lots of softies though.

vest0830, my buddy is also in the USMC, he's based down in San Diego. Are there a lot of american reefers there or is this forum mixed? What kind of corals are you guys keeping?

I think that there are quite a few reefers here, just not everyone posting. I see lots of people at the LFS's buying saltwater fish and such, but as you can see, we only have about 10 people who post here.

What kinds of corals am I keeping...Ive got a few toadstool lathers, ive got 3 GSP's, 1 clam, a few mushrooms, some zoo's and a few others that I cant 100% identify.

the coral farm here, www.ppmokinawa.com has quite a few different corals at various times. there have been a few times ive been in there, and they are dominatly stocked with lathers, now they are dominatly stocked with zoo's and some really wild looking shrooms, and they have a few other various corals in there. check the website. The other shops pretty much go dive for there corals then sell them in thers shops. it varys alot of what will be in the shops when you go in there.
