Well, my anenome decided to take a little stroll around the tank and he also decided to check out the powerhead. Long story short, all day friday (last friday) my anenome pretty much blended itself up in the tank. So I am anenome-less now.

shuldaqt has me hooked on a cube, so hopefully here within the next few months, I will begin to start a new tank. (plus the one at PPM is absoutly beautiful. If you dont go to PPM to buy corals, I suggest at least making the 10min drive from foster or kadena to check out the tank)

So here are pictures I just took today (monday) at lunch time.

-and no, my filtration equipment doesnt stay at the front of the tank, it is there till tonight when I have time to finally clean up the mess from the weekend.

My 38g

my lathers (i have many of them)

my clam that everyone says you must have at least t5 lighting to keep. mine has been doing fine under my 38w petbox lighting. this thing has been through hell and back. Only thing I dont like about it is the algae thats built up on the shell.

And here is a full shot of my 5g cube. I have 1 star polyp, and 2 other corals, but i forget what they are called. It also is full of LR. On payday I wanna get a new light for the 5g. Its currently running a 9w nasso light, but I want a 28w retrofit from innovative lights. It also has the red and white bulb. -and i have a small tomato clown.

So there are my tanks. my pride and joy.

adding a few more pics. I cleaned up my mess from the weekend and did one more small water change and everything seems to be doing better than ever.

my grass star polyp finally opened back up after about a month of peeking out. I know it doesnt look 100% open, but it hasnt opened this much in about a month. I just got home for lunch and saw it!

Also, I hooked my caister filter back up and after batteling more water flow, I decided I would try a long spray bar, and WOW did it kick up some serious water movement.

Give you an idea...

I also still have my seio PH which creates a nice random movement, so after all of the terror i went through over the weekend, things are looking much better overall. accually, i think this is the best my tank has ever looked.

Here is mine. The previous owners told me its a 90L which is supopsed tro be 30 gal, but 90L is only 23 gallons. But this looks bigger then a 23 gal. What do you guys think?

Tanks are looking good. I put a shot of my tank in my gallery. It's pretty barren right now. I also have two blue damsels in there for cycling. I am kind of starting to like them so I think I will move them to my sump once I get it installed. Keep up the good work!

Corey, I really like that tank! What are you using for filtration?

also, something that would totally change the looks of your tank (I think) is go get some black poster board and put it behind the tank. It would change the looks of the tank 100%. That is what I have in the back of my tank. just some $.35 peices of black poster board taped up there. -on the cube im about to do, im going to paint the back panel.

Josh, I really like your tank to! get some rock in there to cycle with the tank!

Nizmo350Z,

I would like to say, personally...that is what I'm shooting for!

Frank,

I know I need some rock but I am having a hard time figuring out where to go to get it. It seems like recently I just don't have enough hours in the day.

Take it easy everyone the tanks are looking great!

Im using the rocks as the filters. I have a bigger PH on its way over here, my mom took forever to ship it.:(

And Ive been thinking about doing the poster board idea.

nah, I can't handle what you guys do. I'm just a civilian. So how's the environment over there? My buddy is in the USMC, he was part of the marine unit that raced from Kuwait to Iraq. Another reefer here. In Socal, we pretty much can get anything we want. So I guess you guys are pretty limited to the things you can get there. What are the prices of the good corals there, in $$?
