As requested, here is a front view of my 55 gal reef tank.

8 gal sump with skimmer
4 x 99 watts power compacts, 50:50 mix actinic and daylight in DIY hood
25 gal Xenia scrubber/prop tank in line, 1 x99 watt Smart lamp
Tank on ground floor, rest in basement
Kalk feed
Automatic RO top off

Ca 230 ppm
KH 7
Nitrate 2 ppm
pH 8.2 - 8.3
25 C

I also have a DIY 40 gal prop tank, 2' x 6' x 8 "

:bounce1: :bounce2: :bounce3: Hey great! Your tank looks incredible. Verrrrry, verrrrry nice. :D Do you just have Chromis in there or are there some other, camera shy, fish hiding somewhere out of sight? You keep the glass beautifully clean too even the back, it makes it look so neat and tidy. :)

I'm going for the reef top look so I scrape all sides to remove the coraline algae which grows very quickly. I gave up using the bought scrapers and now use a 4" wide stainless steel kitchen spatular. Thats the beauty of glass. The fish include:

2 chromis
1 sailfin tang
1 purple dotty
1 manderin

I have many blue and red legged hermits, 1 bright orange fromia, and three sexy shrimps. I hope to get more shrimps of this species to build up a family group on the anemone.
