I'm two weeks into having set up my new aquarium with Cured Live Rock. I have 5 smallish hermits, 5 nassarius, and 5 astrea snails. I'm currently experiencing an algae bloom of sorts. The nassarius seems to keep up a little bit with it, but still grows like crazy. This is normal with a tank this young correct?

yes, it'll grow then die away..

Nassarius eat carrion not algae. The Astrea will help to remove algae.
I'd also recommend adding a pod/worm charge kit.
