16 gallon cube acrylic

it is 16x16x20 and i have @18 lbs of lr, 30 lbs of pink fiji sand not ls, a noisy *** 404 fluval ( are they suppose to be loud or are they all like that, cause mine is used) and 36 inch power compacts 192 w 50/50 oddysea.

first i want to ditch the fluval..what kind of filter would work?? how about the emperor 280???

second my tank has a cnnopy but i have it open with the huge lights, i want to ditch them for something smaller.. what would you all recomment.

i might add i little skimmer on the back?? any suggestions???

i don't use a heater s tex is hot all year round

I'd go with the rock, the sand, a HOB skimmer, and powerheads. Is your tank 16Wide X 16Long X 20Tall? If so, that really limits your options. I don't know if a quad PC will fit or not, but if those are the correct dimensions, maybe think about halides.
