What's was your fav. LFS that's gone?

I miss Animal Talk, but have interesting memories of South Seas Water Gardens too. I got started in the hobby with fresh water there. I remember when Faber had just one strange acrylic tank with saltwater fish in it. Anyone else remember those wonderful antique aquariums with the big sea horse legs? I wonder what those must have been worth.

I really enjoyed Underwater Fantasies. I know they didn't have saltwater, but for a "cichlid" store it was very impressive. There were always lots of fish to pick from.

As for a store with saltwater, Animal Talk I would probably rate the best. Of course I'm talking when it was in it's prime...when Scott Michael owned it. As soon as Matt took over you could tell that it was slowly going downhill, but overall still a good store.

I was never in it when Scott Michael owned, but I loved it when Matt owned it. He was a pleasure to do business with. I learned a lot from him. I wish his third location had made it; I really liked that store.
