Sorry about the bad diagram...what I wanted to do, was to take 2 2.5 gallons and bassicly cobine them to make a prob tank:D.... Im gona take a connector pipe...and place it between the two tanks would I get no filtration on one side and all on the other if I had a 4-5 in. diameter hole between the tanks...
