Adding Sunrise/Sunset Light Cycles to a Nano?!?

hey guys, i've been reading through a lot of the posts trying to figure this question out, but i thought id give it a shot and just ask.

I have a 12g Nano DLX, and it has moonlights built in that are activated by a switch on top of the hood.

I was wondering what are some of the recommended ways for me to get a separate power cord for me to hook up to a separate timer so that i can include a sunrise/sunset light cycle in my tank.

I saw the options on nanocustoms.com, but it wasnt very clear on the process.

^ couldnt find any more information so i took a risk and ordered the 12g DX - Dual Ballast Kit. 35 bucks, so i thought what the heck.

since there were like 40 views on this topic, ill take pics of the kit as well as the whole installation process.

How has that worked out for you? I too was thinking of the same thing and couldn't figure out how to get the sunrise/sunset cycle to work since both lights are on the same powercord.
