I've got a Nano Cube 12DX and I'd like to find something to use for it for a stand. The NC stands are lame, and have small footprints, so I worry about stability. Has anyone found a good substitute stand? I saw some AquaPod stands - those at least have a larger base, which I like.

What are you guys using for stands?
My tank is currently in the hallway, built into a cabinet. But I'd love to put it here in the computer room so I could enjoy it more than just when I walk by.

I am using a Cherry-wood plasma TV stand (rated to 300lbs). Check TV stand distributers, most have weight limits, just buy the ones meant for heavier weight (not particle board) and reinforce them if needed. I wouldnt recommend this on a big tank but for the smaller ones it really opens up alot of options.

Yeah a 12 gallon isn't all that heavy. Thanks - I'll check it out.
