I think a devils hand is another name for a toadstool leather.

toadstool=Sarcophyton sp.

Devil's Hand=Lobophytum sp.

it is a green polyped toadstool. my friend ahs one and i will soon have one.

I beleive its a devils hand. I have devils hand corals/frags that have the same type of polyp extension and look.

its a green toadstool/sacrophyton, I have one that looks exactly like it..........devils hands/fingers are different.

the stalk beneath it leading up to the *mushroom* part is a dead give away.

i'm sure some LFS name it either way though b/c they cost about the same and look similar.

i too have devils hands. they however have small finger like areas of extension from the main body. hth
