Changed tank size?'s HELP?

Had a 5 gal Nono, that I wanted to completely upgrade and take out all the contents from the old tank and add it to the new 17 gal Hex Tank I got for Xmas. I have a 100 gal established for 3 years at home. So I stole the remaining water I need from that one and added it to the new tank. Was looking at adding a few corals and 1 anenome and also a small Blue Hippo and Blenny tomorrow or would it be too soon? Water levels on my charts look good. Anyone out there ever do the same thing? Here is a pic I took this morning

Personally I'd wait a few days, and I would definitely not put a hippo in there, juvi or not. Save that one for the 100 gallon.

I don't think you're going to have much luck with the anemone and that lighting either.

i would agree not to add a blue tang it just wouln't be a good idea, even a small one needs more room and would get stressed especially in a tall tank like yours, they need length not height.
