View Full Version : Where can I get my CUC?

Where can I get some hermit crabs and snails? Preferably close to Kadena. Thanks.

I got mine at the sea wall right there. -at low tide
If you wanna pay for them, go to the fish lady. She will sell them to you cheap. I got a few from the petbox as well. the triangle ones. they seem to do a dam good job. you can tell right where they go. its kinda funny.

Ive seen alot of bumble bee snails in the ocean, and some tagged along with my rock, but Id like some more snails and hermits, but I havnt seen any hermits in the ocean.

Where is the fish lady?

How many hermit crabs do you guys think is good for a 55 gallon? I have looked online at a few different sites and some of them say 1 per gallon! That seems like a whole lot of hermit crabs running around in there.

Thats about right, I had a 10 gal SW in ND, and I had 10 hermits in there.

I would rather have more snails than crabs.

Well I went to the fish lady on sat and she didnt have anything that I needed.

PPM has a bunch of snails. they have a TON of snails in one little tank. it also says 4200y on the tank. I would only assume thats for all of the snails in the tank. that would be a heck of a CUC though.

yes, directions are in one of the other theads. PPM is a coral farm. Top notch quality stuff...very nice corals in there. -they also have some fish and snails. Just depends on when you go in there. Also, they speak very little english.

I went diving today, and it was really low, and when coming back to shore, I saw a bunch of snails, so I figured Id pick up a couple. It turns out they were all hermit crabs so I collected a butt load! :D

Did you get any of the big hermit crabs? All I seem to be able to find is the tiny ones. I want some of the ones that are blue and have the one huge claw.

they are mostley small.
