Nice tank...............I am in the middle of setting the same size tank up. Does this tank have a sump? What size sump are you using? I was thinking a 15 gallon for my tank.

i have a 10gal standard tank as a sump/fuge under my 26 gal. it serves its purpose (small fuge to get rid of nitrates; auto topoff; hide the skimmer and heaters) but wish i had a bit more room to do a bigger sump. go with 15 (or maybe 20) if you can.

My tank has no sump or fuge.
Lighting is a 250watt MH, flow is 3 maxi-jet 1200's on a wavemaker and the output of my skimmer and canaster filter.
It's been setup for 3 years

I was going to use the 10 gallon, but since I can fit a 15 I am going to go with it. I am going to glue some baffles in and have the center area a fuge with some macro and such. I will be drilling the sump/tank for the skimmer and the return. I do not want anything in the tank except the heater, sand and water. No pumps to submerge=less heat problems:)

Hello, looks like you got a very nice tank going there. Is there any way you can describe what filters you are running, and maybe show pictures of the filters and of the lighting. I am wanting to build a 30 gallon and trying to get other peoples input.
Thank you

I'm running a marineland 250 HOT canaster filter with carbon 24/7, and a red sea prisma skimmer.
Lighting is a single 250watt 10K MH
